Disney Short Burrow
The Oscar Nominees are finally out for 2021, as usually the list is filled with some amazing films that everyone must watch. Including the Disney Pixar short Burrow, I don’t usually like short films but I really enjoyed this film. For many reasons, for instance, the plot of the story is that the little bunny has to figure out that, teamwork makes your life a lot easier. I have to say the short animated movie really did evoke a lot of emotion from me. I felt so sad for the little guy because all he wanted to do was find a small place he could call home, but kept finding that the place was taken by someone else. But at the same time, the story also made me laugh because he would have a habit of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. I think this film was created to teach not only kids but everyone that it is ok to ask for help. I mean after all the bunny kept failing at finding a place that he could call home until he finally asked for help. The sound effects made in this short movie I think was very powerful. In this short film, there were no words ever said. But instead, you would hear sound effects from all the action that was going on. With a combination of the sound effects and the editing style of the short film, you were able to clearly tell what was happening throughout the whole story. It was honestly really interesting to see how clear the authors were able to make the message without there being any words. The deeper meaning behind this story I think is that the only person holding you back from succeeding is yourself. Throughout the whole story, you just keep seeing this little bunny dig his way through the earth, trying to find a place to live. Then you see him dig into an underground river, he tries so hard to solve the problem on his own, eventually, he sees that he is failing and goes to get help. Where everyone gets together to divert the water to a little pound. This is where he finally decided to ask for help. That’s when he finally gets his own place to sit back and relax. The animated short film Burrow is a great story for all ages, so why not go get some popcorn to sit back and relax as you watch this little guy try and find his dream home.
